Gluten-free flour mix

This is a standard gluten-free flour mix which can be pre-prepared to use in all your recipes that call for gluten-free flour. You can usually purchase each individual flour type from your supermarket or local bulk food store. If you are unable to purchase a particular flour your shop keeper should be able to assist you in finding a close alternative in the store. However, it is important you get the right consistency, as less or more of a particular ingredient can create a gritty or strong tasting flour blend.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup maize corn flour
  • 1 Cup rice flour
  • 3 Cups soya flour
  • 3 Cups potato flour

Method

Mix together thoroughly, and store in a sealed container. Use within 3 months of preparing.
