• 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1/3 cup packed, brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg (or two eggs whites)
  • 1/4 cup margarine or non-dairy alternative
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix in egg, softened margarine, and chocolate chips. Mix together with a fork until mixture is moist.

Dip a rounded spoon into a glass of water to stop the mixture from sticking, and drop spoonfuls onto a greased pan.

Bake at 150 degrees for 20 minutes.
